1996~1997
Taw Win Thazin was founded in 1996 and was formally recognized in 1997.
In 1997, there were only seven employees running the business and the only products that the company distributed were Thai-made Red Bull, OHH MSG, MAMA instant noodles, condensed milk, canned pumpkin, and AL sardines. Increasing the number to 15 employees, the company’s distribution system focused more on wholesale to direct shops using the Octopus systems.
In 1999
In 1999, the first branch was established in Meiktila and was run with only eight employees and one sales vehicle. Products from Unilever co. Ltd, including Lux soap, Sunskit, Pasodent were added to the product lists and the first of National products, Fuji Detergent Cream was sold.
In 2000
In 2000, the decision to have the sales team divided into dedicated teams for separate products was made, leading to the launch of the Fuji team with 22 members and 2 cars and the Unilever team with 5 cars and 24 members. The Lashio Branch of 12 employees and 2 cars was also established.
In 2001
The Monywa Brach was founded with 14 employees 2 cats and in November, the Myitkyina Branch was founded with 10 employees and 1 car.
In 2002
The Kalay Branch of 7 employees and 1 car was established and 8 more employees and 1 car were added to increase the sub-distribution area representatives in Mandalay.
In 2005
The company has grown to a total of 18 Direct distributor sales teams, 10 Sub-Distribution Control employees and 97 employees at Head Office in the entirety of upper Myanmar. In the sub-urban regions, a total of 12 sub-distributions, 6 sub-branch locations were also built and the employee numbers were increased to 89.
In 2006
A separate Marketing department was launched consisting of 6 trained, experienced employees in order to increase the marketing efforts of all products.
In 2010
The manufacturing department was started with a factory for Fuji department cream in Mandalay as well as expanding into the water bottle industry with 4 machines. Expansions of the Marketing teams were also done.
The Octopus Distribution System was established, and the company expanded efforts to achieve Uniform Price to all branches. In 2010, Taw Win Thazin’s distribution network has reached a total of 191 towns with their dedicated sale teams coming every week or month.

In Upper Myanmar, there were 18 Direct Distributor sales teams and 10 employees total, which increased to 97 employees overall in 2002. At the township level, 12 Sub-Distribution locations, six Sub-Branch locations, and 89 staff members were increased. The company was updated in 2006, with a Marketing Department and six new employees. Uniformity prices have been started conducting the Octopus system. In order to meet the sales target, sales teams have distributed weekly and monthly across the 191 cities since 2002.
